Terms and conditions for public users
In using the Lifelong Giving websites, any of our services and any other site operated by Wedding List Giving Ltd, implies acceptance of these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding further. If you breach these terms and conditions, Wedding List Giving Ltd reserves the right to terminate/deny (without notice) use of the website and associated services.
About the organisations that we work with
Wedding List Giving Ltd, enables individuals and couples to donate to and raise funds for any of the charities featured on each of our websites. We have a contractual arrangement with every charity, which authorise Wedding List Giving Ltd to collect donations and reclaim tax on their behalf. Wedding List Giving Ltd contracts with charities at our own discretion. Charities must be registered with the Charity Commission or exempt from registration in order for Wedding List Giving Ltd to reclaim tax on their behalf. Wedding List Giving Ltd also features reputable non-for-profit organisations at our discretion, which are not eligible for tax reclaim. Each charity is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in their listing. Participating charities are entitled to use funds raised for them as they choose. Wedding List Giving Ltd is not responsible for any dissatisfaction you may have regarding the recipient charity's use of any donation you may make through this website.
Our fees
Wedding List Giving Ltd charges charities a subscription fee of £7.50 per month for administering the donations made via our websites. In addition to this, a further 12p of the Gift Aid per £1.00, where donors make a Gift Aid declaration is charged for ongoing administration costs. This means that 100% of donations reach the charity. The remaining Gift Aid, is passed to the Charity. This means that either £1.00 per £1.00 is passed to the charity (no Gift Aid declaration) or £1.16 per £1.00 donated is passed to the charity.
Unauthorised card use
When a donation is made the transaction is final and not disputable unless unauthorised use of your payment card is proved. If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you must notify your card provider in accordance with their standard reporting rules.
Tax information
Where a donor makes a Gift Aid declaration (confirming their tax status) Wedding List Giving Ltd reclaims the tax on behalf of the charity. There is information on the website about Gift Aid. However, you should not rely on information given on this site to determine your accounting, tax or financial consequences of making a donation to charity and we recommend that you consult your own advisors about any accounting, tax or financial consequences that may affect you.
Data protection
Wedding List Giving is registered for data protection. We will not disclose individual or company data to third parties without express permission to do so and follow standard data protection practices.
Conduct of users
Users must use the Lifelong Giving websites (www.lifelonggiving.com www.weddinglistgiving.com www.civilpartnershipgiving.com www.anniversarygiving.com www.christmasgiving.com www.birthdaygiving.com www.inmemorygiving.com) in a responsible and legal manner. In particular (but not exclusively) users must not:
- Misrepresent their identity
- send e-mails associated with Wedding List Giving Ltd to people who do not wish to receive e-mail from you;
- interfere with or disrupt the service or services or networks connected to the service;
- delete or falsify any attributions, trademarks or designations of source from any site content;
- leave inappropriate content in free text spaces (guest messages)
- collect or store personal data about other users.
Wedding List Giving reserves the right to cancel your site use without notice and without prejudice in the event of a breach of the above rules.

We endeavour to ensure that content is accurate but take no responsibility for information or content provided by third parties. Content provided and thus included on ths site does not imply that Wedding List Giving Ltd approves of the beliefs or views expressed.
Partner Services
Wedding List Giving may select and promote partners who offer useful services to our users. Although we will endeavour to select partners of the highest integrity, we cannot be held responsible for any aspect of the information or services that they offer. If you decide to use their services, you do this at your own risk.
Links
Wedding List Giving Ltd websites include links to websites of participating charities and of partners. By including a link to another url address, we do not imply that Wedding List Giving Ltd endorses the content or opinion expressed on these sites. We have no responsibility for any of these sites. Your relationship and any transactions with other organisations through the websites or otherwise are your own responsibility.
Trademarks
The names Lifelong Giving, lifelonggiving.com, Wedding List Giving, WLG, weddinglistgiving.com, Birthday Giving, birthdaygiving.com, Christmas Giving, christmasgiving.com, Civil Partnership Giving, civilpartnershipgiving.com, Anniversary Giving, anniversarygiving.com, the anniversary giving logo, the wedding list giving logo, the civil partnership giving logo, the christmas giving logo, the birthday giving logo, the lifelong giving logo and any other product and service names that we may present on the site from time to time may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not that of Wedding List Giving Ltd, nor in any manner that is likely to cause confusion, or in any way that may disparage or discredit Wedding List Giving. Other trademarks, service marks or logos that appear on the site, in particular (but not exclusively) those of member charities, are the property of their respective owners and are likely to be registered trademarks and subject to restrictions as to their use. They must not be used without the express permission of the trademark owner.
All content, including images and artwork, on the Wedding List Giving Ltd websites is owned by Wedding List Giving Ltd, participating charities, or other original providers and is protected by the applicable intellectual property and proprietary rights and laws. Use of the websites content is not permitted without the express prior permission of Wedding List Giving and, where applicable, the copyright holder.
Changes to the service of to these terms & conditions
Wedding List Giving Ltd makes every effort to ensure that this website and other services are available continuously, but reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all or any part at any time with or without notice. Unless specifically exempted, any new services introduced shall be subject to these Terms & Conditions. Wedding List Giving Ltd reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time, such changes shall be effective immediately it appears on the website.
Limitation of Liability
In no circumstances will Wedding List Giving Ltd be liable for any loss or damages, whether direct or consequential arising out of:
- your use of the Wedding List Giving site and services or your inability to do so
- your reliance on any content and/or
- goods and services in any way associated with the site and services.
